About the Collective

Start Here

Welcome—if you’re new, this page will help you understand what the collective is, how it works, and where to begin.

This isn’t just a shop or a tutorial site. It’s a small, seasonal fiber collective built around learning, connection, and supporting independent fiber businesses.

If that sounds like your kind of place, you’re in the right spot.

What Is the Collective?

The collective brings together three parts that work alongside each other:

  • Learning through approachable knitting and crochet tutorials

  • Discovery through a monthly yarn box featuring small fiber businesses

  • Connection through a seasonal fiber exchange designed to feel personal and low-pressure

You can take part in one piece—or all three.

Who This Is For

This collective is for you if:

  • You knit, crochet, or are learning to

  • You like understanding how things work, not just following patterns

  • You value thoughtful materials and small makers

  • You enjoy slow projects and meaningful connection

  • You don’t believe there’s only one “right” way to make

You don’t need to be advanced. You don’t need perfect tension. You just need an interest in fiber and a willingness to try.
